After a long and agonizing wait, Assassin’s Creed Unity is here! —aaaand it’s not so good.
Not a day after people received their own copy of the game, The internet has exploded with videos and images of major glitches all throughout the game. Now that’s not good news. Ubisoft! what are you doing? Hear our cry!
At first there were super low framerate complaints, which was bearable at some point, but the glitches, NOPE. Some glitches might actually be the source of your nightmares. Apparently, there have been rumors that these glitches are more rampant on AMD gpus and on the Multiplayer Co-op feature but we have yet to see if the case is true.
The reason the glitches came around is the slow loading of preset textures, or the lack thereof which makes the models lose skin or part of their limbs. There are also invisible walls in the middle of the street, and secret underground areas which are supposedly inaccessible to the player. It’s scary. It’s like having a really really bad dream. We got our copy of Assassin’s Creed: Unity for PC but we’re not trying it out unless Ubisoft releases a fix patch, which i think they will soon.
Meanwhile here are some videos and screenshots of in-game Glitches that are not only horrifying, but is also disappointing.
