Now’s the time to gear up your PC, as the latest installment to the Grand Theft Auto series will soon be released. To get your PC to run the game smoothly, Rockstar Games has released GTA 5’s system requirements ahead of a now-delayed March 24 release.

As announced on Rockstar’s website, here are the minimum and recommended PC specs for you to enjoy GTA 5’s new brand of violence and mayhem:

Minimum specifications:
OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1, Windows Vista 64 Bit Service Pack 2* (*NVIDIA video card recommended if running Vista OS)

It’s nice to see the extremely light minimum specs – and it’s going to be light on your wallet, too. Also, if you’re ever unsure as to how big a game it is, that 65GB hard drive requirement should leave no room for doubt.

The release of the PC version of the game will bring all the benefits of the most recent PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version, including the first-person mode and an expanded soundtrack. PC gamers will also enjoy a nice extra, the native 4K support.

We’ve spent a considerably long time waiting for GTA 5 to come out on PC, so it’s a shame that we now have to wait two more months. But one thing’s for sure, GTA 5 will be one of the best games on PC this year so it’ll surely be worth the wait.
